Quantum Insights is led by Usman Sheikh, a seasoned executive and entrepreneur with over 20 years of experience providing strategic advisory to C-level clients in both the U.S. Government and Commercial sectors. His expertise spans advanced analytics and cutting-edge technologies such as data science, Machine Learning (ML), Artificial Intelligence (AI), and the Metaverse. Having spent over 15 years with top-tier consulting firms, Mr. Sheikh has successfully led complex technology implementations and advisory engagements across diverse industries, including healthcare, financial services, retail, manufacturing, hospitality, and higher education.
A trusted advisor to senior government leadership, particularly in the national healthcare domain, Mr. Sheikh has played a pivotal role in developing collaborative, virtual data-sharing platforms aimed at promoting open science and improving public health outcomes. His contributions to national initiatives, such as The National COVID Cohort Collaborative (N3C), demonstrate his expertise in applying AI, ML, and privacy-preserving technologies to create scalable, secure repositories for biomedical research. Rafael is an accomplished Technology Consultant with 10+years of experience in operations and hand-on delivery within the healthcare sector. He excels in leveraging advanced AI and Machine Learning technologies to enhance operational efficiency and drive scientific results. Rafael’s expertise in Software Engineering and Advanced Analytics has allowed him to lead cross-functional teams in developing solutions for clinical data collection, interpretation and patient care enhancement.
As the Director of Innovation at Quantum Insights, Rafael has pioneered the design and implementation pipelines for harmonizing patient data in a secure way to improve data quality and accessibility for medical research.
He has been at the forefront of integrating emerging technologies into healthcare, leveraging Generative AI for grant purposes and designing IoT prototypes for remote patient monitoring.
